In line with fostering unity within Ecclesia Dei Society of St. Joseph as the foremost advocate of the TLM apostolate in the Philippines, EDSSJ will be releasing its own set of membership forms both for new and renewed members. The forms are still being designed but will then be posted on this site and on its own page.
Please stay tuned and tell your friends about this wonderful means of opportunity to be one with the Tridentine Latin Mass celebrations in the Philippines.

The Holy Father Benedict XVI’s reflection and catechesis on the Summa Theologica’s expositions on the Eucharist. This address was given yesterday, the 23rd of July, at St. Peter’s Square.
Excerpt:
“The Eucharist being the sacrament of the passion of our Lord, is also an effect of this sacrament, it not being other than the application in us of the passion of the Lord” (In Ioannem, c.6, n. 963). Let us understand well why St. Thomas and other saints celebrated the Holy Mass shedding tears of compassion for the Lord, who offers himself in sacrifice for us, tears of joy and of gratitude. . . . → Read More: “Let Us Be Enamoured of the Eucharist”

The Roman Missal promulgated by St. Pius V and reissued by Bl. John XXIII is to be considered as an extraordinary expression of ‘Lex orandi,’ and must be given due honour for its venerable and ancient usage..therefore, {it is} permissible to celebrate the Sacrifice of the Mass following the typical edition of the Roman Missal promulgated by Bl. John XXIII in 1962 and {it was} never abrogated, as an extraordinary form of the Liturgy of the Church.
- Summorum Pontificum, H.H. Pope Benedict XVI -
You are most cordially invited to the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass according to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite of the 5th Sunday after Pentecost at 9 o’clock in the morning on the 27th of June 2010 in Jaleville, ParaƱaque.

The main EDSSJ site portal is temporarily down inasmuch as there are minor tweaks, i.e. replacing Joomla with WordPress as the default CMS; or if not, a re-transferring of the previous hand-coded layout and contents. I, as part of the website admin, have also decided to conceptualise another means by which 1)time is not overly consumed just by posting articles 2) registered users of the site may find it more uncomplicated to write and categorise their works. This should be understandable enough since not all are intermediate users or website administrators.
For the meantime, the main site shall redirect to this dossier until the whole maintenance process is finished.
Please bear with the situation. The main site shall be up sooner.
